ROMANTIC GETAWAY LOCATION♡:
Chilliwack Lake

  • A romantic camping/hiking experience located 2 hours outside of the busy lower mainland. Little people knowing about this beautiful blue water getaway, making for a private, and relaxing day drip, or weekend adventure.
  • To get to the top of the hike takes around an hour to 2 hours, depending on hiking skill level (1.7KM). This hike is for intermediate and upwards levels, because of the steep terrain, where hiking boots are recommended.
  • Take extra precaution when taking this hike due to the hike having no cell service, making it an even better way to give your full attention to your significant other. Also remember to bring extra water and protein for hikes, and always tell someone where you are going incase of emergencies.
❤HAPPY HIKING ❤

Find Nature BC

With the HUSTLE and BUSTLE of everyday life, sometimes we need to connect with our roots. The pressure is even more so with couples as there are two lives co-mingling together.

For those that have a partner-in-crime, the following nature location is a great place to spend time, get some exercise AND get to know that partner:

Alouette Lake, British Columbia, Canada..

Located around an hour and twenty minutes from Vancouver, the lake lays a mere twenty minutes from Maple Ridge, B.C.

The drive towards the lake is near mesmerizing; the trees lined up in-line with the road turning and twisting throughout the forest.

It creates almost the same feelings as going on a road-trip with a person you're fond of.

Signs appear informing of the turn that goes to the lake. Pulling into the parking lot the trees clear to your right and the lake shows its magnificent self. You can't help but want to share the moment with that someone else.

A walkway leads to the main beach area. It's here where the beauty of the place is truly breathtaking.
Hiking

Above is a near mirror image of whats on the right as another mountain cascades in creating a valley, funneling Alouette Lake's water out into the world.

A walkway is cleared out so you and that person can enjoy the quietness of nature while enjoying the beauty, while only being a mere 20 minutes out of a city.
